History

BYTHELL'S BAY is a private family bay purchased by the owners grandfather for 350 British Pounds. In 1916, he then built the 2-bedroom Colonial Cottage over the stream from Waitaha.

WAITAHA LODGE is the newest of four beach houses in Bythell's Bay, built in 1980-81.

Since then it has been extended five times and now has a total of 8 bedrooms, and the capacity to sleep a total of 18.
